Polish technical death metal band DECAPITATED will be entering RG Studio in Gdańsk, Poland on February 9th to record their fifth studio album and follow-up to 2006’s Organic Hallucinosis.

The new release will be produced by Wacek Kiełtyka and sound engineered by Malta Arkadiusz Malczewski. Drums will be recorded with Daniel Bergstrand (BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, KEEP OF KALESSIN, DEFLESHED), who will also handle mixing duties.

DECAPITATED’s as-yet-untitled new album appeared on “The Top 25 Most Anticipated Albums of 2011” list in Decibel magazine’s February 2011 issue, available now at newsstands.

DECAPITATED's line-up includes: Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka on guitar, Kerim "Krimh" Lechner (Thorns Of Ivy, Tone Intimacy) on drums, Rafał Piotrowski (Ketha, Forgotten Souls) on lead vocals, and Filip "Heinrich" Hałucha (Vesenia, Rootwater, Unsun, Masachist) on bass.

Polish technical death metal band DECAPITATED have set "Carnival Is Forever" as the title of their fifth studio album, due later in the year via Nuclear Blast Records.

Commented DECAPITATED guitarist Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka: "Carnival: war, rape, lies, pathology, evil displayed through certain events and situations of the latest years in the world. Is Forever — I guess it doesn't need explaining. Both in the text and the title, there is bitter irony. The author of the title and all lyrics is Jarek Szubrycht (Lex Occulta, author of "No Mercy", the world’s first biography of thrash metal legends SLAYER."

The follow-up to 2006's "Organic Hallucinosis", "Carnival Is Forever" was recorded at Radio Gdansk Studio in Poland with producer Wacek Kieltyka and engineer Malta Arkadiusz Malczewski. Drums were tracked with Daniel Bergstrand (BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, KEEP OF KALESSIN, DEFLESHED), who also handled mixing duties.

DECAPITATED's new album will be released through Nuclear Blast Records in all territories except the band's home country where the group will make the CD available via its own label.

DECAPITATED's lineup includes Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka on guitar, Kerim "Krimh" Lechner (THORNS OF IVY, TONE INTIMACY) on drums, Rafal Piotrowski (KETHA, FORGOTTEN SOULS) on lead vocals, and Filip "Heinrich" Halucha (VESENIA, ROOTWATER, UNSUN, MASACHIST) on bass.

Polish tech death masters Decapitated have announced the title of the band's upcoming album. The sixth Decapitated album will be entitled Blood Mantra, and is set to be released September 26th via Nuclear Blast.

Three years have passed since the highly praised album Carnival Is Forever was released. Now Decapitated are back - stronger than ever! “Blood Mantra was recorded at Hertz Studio in Bialystok (Poland) under the direction of Wojtek and Slawek Wiesawski. The artwork was created by Polish artist, Lukasz Jaszak, who also made the cover of Carnival Is Forever.

Guitarist/founding member Wacaw "Vogg" Kietyka states: "Extreme and groove - I think that's the best way to describe our new album. This time we feel that we have something totally crushing and huge. Blood Mantra is the most heavy and mature album we ever did in our carrier. I cannot wait to start to play songs live because riffs are soo deep and powerful."

J'ai laissé tomber Decapitated depuis "the Negation" qui était déjà plus que moyen. Dommage car le groupe défonce tout en live... on verra bien ce que donne cet album

Groupe mort et enterré depuis des années lorsqu'ils sont passés d'un death brutal et technique inspiré à du metal moderne de bas étage.

C'est vrai que les 2 premiers sont excellents. Pour tout dire "winds of creation" est un de mes albums favoris de death metal. Je peux me l'écouter en boucle sans zapper un seul titre. Même la reprise de Slayer est excellente

Sordide.
J'ai la flemme de tout poster, c'est très long et contradictoire, attendons de voir ce qu'il en sort, mais si les faits sont avérés inutile de préciser que leur tournée annoncée avec Kreator sera plus que compromise.

Toutes les charges contre le groupe ont été abandonnées par la justice américaine qui semble dire que la "victime" aurait affabulé (ayant un passif dans le domaine), il n'y aura même pas de procès.

According to The Spokesman-Review, Spokane County prosecutors have dropped all rape and kidnapping charges against the four members of the Polish death metal band DECAPITATED, citing the well-being of the alleged victim.

Less than two weeks before the musicians were scheduled to go on trial for allegedly kidnapping and raping a woman on their tour bus four months ago, Spokane County prosecutor Kelly Fitzgerald filed a motion dismissing all rape and kidnapping charges. The motion cites "the well being of the victim" as a reason for dropping the charges without prejudice, meaning the four members of DECAPITATED could be prosecuted in the future.

Defense attorneys questioned the credibility of the accuser, who in 2014 admitted to lying to police about injuries she sustained during an assault, when her boyfriend was accused of stabbing three people. It was later determined that she was actually injured by her boyfriend during a previous argument.

The musicians were released from jail last month as they awaited trial. As part of their release conditions, the musicians were ordered to stay in Washington and were required to turn in their passports. In the event that they did return to Poland, they were ordered to sign waivers of extradition, meaning they were agreeing to be extradited to the U.S.

The DECAPITATED members were released on their own recognizance and did not have to post a bond.

Their trial was scheduled to begin on January 16.

The woman alleged she was gang-raped by the musicians in their tour bus bathroom after DECAPITATED's August 31 concert with THY ART IS MURDER at The Pin concert venue in downtown Spokane as part of the two bands' "Double Homicide" tour. The woman said entered the bus for drinks with the band before each member forced themselves on her.

Deputies later stated the victim had "significant bruising to her upper arms consistent with being restrained" and "small abrasions on her knuckles that were scabbed over."

Andy Marsh, a member of THY ART IS MURDER, provided testimony for the defense, saying he saw the woman violently dancing in the mosh pit in front of the stage. "She was smashing her hands, arms and body against the metal barricade between the audience and the stage," he said in the court documents.

All four members of DECAPITATED were arrested on September 9 in Santa Ana, California after performing at the Observatory. They were held in Los Angeles County Jail before being extradited to Spokane.

DECAPITATED announced in September that it was canceling all previously announced tour dates. The band also publicly denied the accusations.

In a statement, the DECAPITATED members said that "the original officer who took the complaint from the accuser stated, 'I do not have probable cause that a rape occurred.'" They added that they were "confident that once the facts and evidence have been seen and heard, they will be released and able to return home."
