Un nouveau groupe de heavy rock groovy venu des States, qui sonne pas mal :
Central Pennsylvania old-souled, dirty groove rock quartet CROBOT has inked a deal with Nuclear Blast for the European territory. The band is working with acclaimed producer Machine (CLUTCH, LAMB OF GOD) on its upcoming full-length debut, due out this fall. The CD will be made available in the U.S. via Wind-Up, the label that issued CROBOT's self-titled four-song EP in May.
"We're honored to have Nuclear Blast as the international wind beneath our beards," states CROBOT vocalist Brandon Yeagley. "With bands like GRAVEYARD, SCORPION CHILD, ORCHID and KADAVAR on their roster, Nuclear Blast is the perfect place for CROBOT to nest."
CROBOT embodies a mixture of groove-heavy riff-rock that will want to make you bang your head and shake your ass. Think of them as WOLFMOTHER's American cousins who smell like leather (they make leather-scented air fresheners!) and whose music scorches your ears like hot sauce to the taste (yes, they even have their own hot sauce!). You can't help but feel that you are taken into another dimension and back again with the songs of CROBOT. The press have been quick to praise their live shows as The Buffalo News says "…a set described by one concert-goer as 'the nastiest groove-metal I've heard this side of SOUNDGARDEN.'"
CROBOT is Brandon Yeagley (lead vocals, harmonica), Chris Bishop (guitar, vocals), Jake Figuroa (bass) and Paul Figuroa (drums).

"La culture, c'est comme l'amour. Il faut y aller à petits coups au début pour bien en jouir plus tard."

Central Pennsylvania old-souled, dirty groove rock quartet CROBOT has unveiled the official lyric video for its latest single, "Not For Sale" as the first sneak peek to its upcoming album, "Welcome To Fat City". From start to finish and in true CROBOT fashion, this ripper doesn't stop twisting and turning like a hard rock tidal wave. It gives you just enough time to come up for air, only to get pummeled back into the groovy undertow.
Talking to Noisey, CROBOT frontman Brandon Yaegley noted that, "Not For Sale" "takes you into orbit around the sonic spectrum of our latest album and is an anthem for all of us who work hard enough to make our own luck. It's a cry to hold on to our own humanity, never letting anyone else manipulate our destiny. Who paid your debt to be here? No one...and my soul is not for sale."
