British black metal pioneers VENOM will release their new studio album, "From The Very Depths", on January 27, 2015 via Spinefarm. The effort will be made via CD and download, with a double vinyl format to follow shortly after.
Commented VENOM bassist/vocalist Conrad "Cronos" Lant: "This album is perfect.
"All three members are totally over-the-top confident with the new songs and the production.
"We had a great atmosphere in the studio while we were recording. Danté created pure thunder from his drums, while Rage tears the flesh off your face with his riffs, making everything fall into place so well.
"It's a strong release and really shows the band maturing into an unstoppable force of pure black metal.
"We can't wait to play the new songs live for the Legions... Hell yeah!"
Added VENOM drummer Danny "Danté" Needham: "The new songs are sounding amazing; the whole album has a great feel.
"I'd say the strength of this band comes from our determination to create great music, and that comes from forward thinking, new ideas and fresh challenges."

Excellent ! L'album que j'attends le plus en ce début d'année. J'ai passé pas mal de temps pendant mes vacances de Noel à écouter Wastelands de 1992 que j'ai enfin réussi à trouver.

Je ne reconnais pas trop Venom à part le chant, mais au final c'est pas plus mal.

Bah, cet album est dans la droite lignée du précédent, en un peu mieux produit, mais avec trop peu d'éléments qui se détachent.
