Dynamo presents a new festival in Eindhoven
Once the ice skates have been tucked away in the attic, the Kunstijsbaan (Ice Rink) in Eindhoven is getting ready to host a couple thousand headbangers in black shirts. Dynamo is presenting their new festival: ″DYNAMO METAL FEST″ on this legendary location (made famous by another festival) on Saturday July 18th, 2015. The first edition will host 8 bands, with the first names to be announced soon.
Dynamo Metal Fest is meant to be a pure, no-nonsense metal festival: one day, one stage, eight bands and a 15 Euro ticket price at presale. In other words, a festival that will make all metalheads feel at home in an atmosphere created by the loud noise, taste of beer, smell of french fries, and most importantly the fans themselves. Dynamo was already contemplating putting together a festival with just the basic and primary metal needs. ″We ran into the right people at the right time and decided to go ahead and just do it. We didn′t have to think long or hard about the name and the location″; says Sander Waterschoot, project manager at Dynamo.
The main focus of the festival is ′talent′, not just coincidentally one of the Dynamo youth centre′s policy objectives. You′ll see it in the line-up, which holds a place for regional and (inter)national talent as well as established names. But the festival will also give Dynamo′s volunteers and the students of the Metal Factory a chance to develop their talents in various fields such as event management, artist handling, sound/light engineering, PR and catering.
The first bands are expected to be announced in early December and the presale will start in December as well. A ticket will cost 15 euro in advance, or 20 euro at the door.

Tarif très intéressant donc. Curieux de voir les 5 autres noms, voir si Alestorm sera un peu le groupe à part ou pas. Par contre c'est notamment en plein Bang Your Head, Guitare en Scène, Resurrection Fest, à la veille du Metaldays...

Je sais, et je compte voir NA au Party San, mais ça reste rageant de louper ça si près et si cheap quand même.

Le feu dynamo open air je l'ai fait en 95, c'etait enorme avec 80000 personnes le prix du pass 2 jour etait déjà ridiculement bas à l'époque. Tres bonne idée de relancer ce fest.
Et va savoir si Nuclear Assault n'y sera pas...
