After all the positive feedback on the re-arranged acoustic versions of the songs, we decided to record the tracks for an official release. So, we just spent two days in the studio recording our favorite tracks, adding the occasional surprise of course. The working title of the album is "Clean" but that might still change along the route to its release. The recording sessions were very direct and intuitive - genuinely creative - and we recorded everything together at once, including all lead vocals and harmonies. Daredevil, old-school and naked. Just like we want it.
When you're this gig, they call you...
...But you can't find the time
While fans might be eager for the follow-up to Road Salt Two, prog innovators Pain Of Salvation just announced officially their much anticipated acoustic album, Falling Home, which will finally be released in Europe on November 10th, 2014 via the band's longtime label partner InsideOutMusic. This album is a very special album, which contains reimagined versions of favourite catalogue songs, two cover versions ("Holy Diver" by Dio and "Perfect Day" by Lou Reed) and a brand new song (the title track, "Falling Home").
