Quelques infos supplémentaires concernant ce show spécial d'Accept:

Accept want to create one huge show consisting of three different parts to reflect their entire creativity! But what is going to happen exactly?

The first act: Accept will present some songs from their new album The Rise Of Chaos exclusively at Wacken!

One day after the live premier in Wacken, the album will be released all over the world – on August 4th. It’s the fourth Accept album to be released by Nuclear Blast and it is going continue the feats from its three predecessors Blood Of The Nations, Stalingrad and Blind Rage.

This first part of the Wacken show will be more than just the live premier, but a classical Accept Metal show with both old and new hits!

The second part is another premier! Wolf Hoffmann and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra will perform songs from Wolf’s solo album Headbangers Symphony together. The album was already released in 2016, but this will be the live premier! The album adapts some of the greatest works of the classical music, like Beethoven's Symphony no. 9 for the metal world.

The closing third part combines everything for the grand finale: Accept will rock the stage together with the big Orchestra, framed by a complex multimedia show. Needless to say, that this is another huge premier for the band.

De ce que j'ai lu sur un forum allemand, il y aurait encore cinq ou six vrais groupes à annoncer. Après, ce sera du Metal Battle

Oui enfin les allemands et leur notion de "vrai groupe"...

Peut-être Iced Earth qui sont toujours pas repassé après l'annulation de 2014.

Mais bon c'est étonnant que l'orga se fasse chier à sortir une affiche avec le line up (ce qu'il ne font jamais hein) alors qu'il reste encore des groupes à annoncer, non?

En même temps ils ne sont toujours pas sold out. C'est comme notre élection présidentielle, cette année rime avec imprévisibilité.

Pas de vrais groupes mais quelques vainqueurs du Metal Battle de leur pays :

Les True Metal Stage, Black Stage et Party Stage changent de nom, de design (du moins l'ex-Party Stage) et il va y avoir du gros son :wacken:

We are preparing some small and some big changes for the upcoming Wacken Open Air! The construction work from last autumn were only the first step of our investments and improvements.

Today's news is about the big stages and the sound in our infield. More news will follow soon!

The stage names:
Last year we asked you to submit suggestions to rename the Party Stage. More than 1000 suggestions reached us and they covered a huge range of ideas. Thank you for your ideas and your support!

Some of the ideas were amazing! But still, none of them felt right for us. After many, many discussions, we came to the, at least for us, right idea: We need to understand our three big open air stages as one unit.

The solution suddenly was obvious: Our most important slogan is Faster Harder Louder! Three words that perfectly describe both the festival and the metal scene. And we have three really big stages.

The Black Stage becomes Faster. The True Stage is Harder. And the former Party Stage will be known under the name Louder.

The sound:
We always aim to deliver the best metal sound that is possible! To improve the situation once more, we will upgrade all three main stages together with the experts from Crystal Sound.

The area in front of the twin stage Faster and Harder gets an additional third row of speakers that improves the sound for the rear areas. If you like to watch the concerts from a little distance, you will get great sound from this second delay line.

The Louder stage gets an upgrade too! Until now we only installed a few delay speakers at the rear of the FoH-tower. Now we will install a real delay row for this stage, too! The goal is the same: More sound for the crowd, especially in the back of the area.

The new stage house:
Important parts of our Party Stage aren't available this year. Due to this, the Louder stage not only gets a new name and more speakers but also a new design!

The stage will become a tremendous round arch stage! This new stage offers the bands as much space as the old one and still outdoes many other festival stages all around the world.

C'est un peu dommage le changement scène en fait, mais bon on s'y fera...

Sinon gros chantier en cours:

We continue to work on the infield! After the announcement of the new stage names and the additional speakers and the enormous building operations from last autumn, we now continued with more groundwork.

Starting from two hubs, we installed huge empty conduits below the ground. We lay fiber optic cables and power supply lines through these pipes, to reach several points in front of the stages. And we also install a beer pipeline!

You read it right, the beer stalls in front of the main stages will be provided with fresh beer from our new underground beer pipeline. Both fresh and waste water will run through these pipes too. Of course we will control the hygiene of the tubes all the time.

Until this year, we always had to move dozens of barrels through the infield. We had to bring in full barrels before and during the shows and afterwards we had to remove the empty ones. This caused a lot of avoidable traffic. The new pipeline helps us to protect the floor! And we also get rid of bottlenecks at the bar, you will not have to wait for the new barrel to be on tap anymore.

The installation of the pipes and the enlarged drainage is a lasting investment in the infrastructure of Wacken. We pave the way for many more years of Heavy Metal at Wacken Open Air!

What comes next? The Running Order for the upcoming festival and the area maps can be provided soon. Stay tuned!

Putain l'enchainement du mercredi soir sur la Headbangers Stage: Flotsma & Jetsam, Annihilator et Crowbar

ça va commencer fort!

Night to Remember assez cool, maid je m'attendais à peu plus de 2h pour Accept avec ce show en 3 parties.

Rien qui m'intéresse sur la Faster Stage le vendredi.

Grave Digger à 14h30??

Et pendant Skull Fist…

Kadavar sur une scène en plein air?

Megadeth / Sacred Reich en même temps?

Rage rétrogradé sur une petite scène en tout premier?

Powerwolf en même temps que Orange Goblin.

Tankard et Kreator qui s'enchaine trop vite, ça va être chaud.
Kreator en même temps que Primal Fear.

En tout cas le samedi est carrément intense.

Moi de ce que j'ai vu c'est le vendredi qui risque d'être intense !
Pour le jeudi c'est très bon sauf que Batushka chevauche Accept

Désolé mais pas d'hésitation pour ma part. C'est Batushka direct

Par contre Emperor vs The Dillinger Escape Plan vs Fates Warning vs Ereb Altor, ça fait bien, bien chier!!!

Ce sera sûrement Emperor, une demi-heure de Fates Warning et DTC pour les adieux TDEP

Et bien sûr quasiment rien le samedi...

On peut très bien voir une heure et quart d'Accept et embrayer sur Batushka !
Mais Emperor, tu les as déjà vus plusieurs fois alors que Fates Warning sont beaucoup plus rares et que c'est les adieux de Dilinger... donc autant choisir l'enchaînement sous les tentes, non ?
Par contre les chevauchements qu'il y a sur ce créneau-là ne sont pas incohérents, ce sont quatre styles bien différents.
Sinon effectivement, Skull Fist / Grave Digger et Sacred Reich / Megadeth, c'est n'imp'... J'espère qu'il y aura des changements d'ici deux mois...

Pour ce qui est du samedi, par contre, je ne suis pas d'accord, il y a des trucs sympas... juste un gros trou sur les main stages à 22h

Ouais mais Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk en entier...
L'album faisant 43 minutes, je vais sûrement me casser avant la fin du set d'Emperor pour voir Fates Warning en entier mais pour Dilinger, c'est cuit.
Et sinon Ereb Altor / Emperor, c'est pas exactement le même style mais les publics étant similaires, c'est quand même assez stupide de les faire jouer en même temps.

Voila, je reitere mon commentaire sur Dillinger. Je ne vois pas trop ce qu'ils foutent la. Pourquoi les programmer sur leur tournee d'adieu si c'est pour les mettre sous un chapiteau en même temps qu'un des principaux groupes a l'affiche???

AVANTASIA LIVE 2017!

Folks, FEW tickets left for Avantasia in Switzerland / Wacken & Barcelona this year. FEW weeks left until Avantasia is gonna disappear again. And you know who's gonna be on stage with me?

Of course, there'll be Bob Catley, the storyteller. I LOVE SIR ROBERT OF TAMWORTH, everybody loves Bob! There'll be Jorn Lande, the striking Viking who's got a new album coming out these days. Amanda Somerville, Oliver Hartmann, Herbie Langhans... Mr Big's Eric Martin will be in Wacken (he's got an own record coming out with Mr Big and some touring going on, thus he can't be in Spain and CH...), Ronnie Atkins will be in Spain and Switzerland (can't be in Wacken, Pretty Maids show... You see why I always say it could be the last Avantasia tour?! - Because these folks got SO busy schedules... There WON'T be a tour next year!!!! SERIOUSLY!).

Sascha and the band will be there of course. Miro, Felix, the bass player who's name I forgot... Ahm... Andr... An... Adroo...An... That vegetarian with the fast fingers... Something Neygendingsbums... Andre Neygenfind!!!!

Absolute vegetarian who hates war and bad people. The complete opposite of Ted Nugent... Ha!

And we'll have one new addition to the team - and I am extremely proud. He has been a huge influence for me. And he had a formative influence on many, many singers that I've met in my career. He took operatic vocals in heavy guitar music to a new level. And without a doubt, his vocals played a huge rôle in making his then band Queensryche go multiple platinum in the USA; with a sound that was so different to anything else, in Metal and in the charts. Truely progressive! I am proud and I am looking forward to welcome Geoff Tate - formerly Queensryche, now Operation Mindcrime - to the Avantasia family!!! We'll have a blast!

I am so looking forward to these summer shows! See you all in Spain, Switzerland and Wacken, OKAY? Cheerz, TS
