Notons que Leatherwolf se produit avec un nouveau chanteur, un certain Keith Adamiak, après que Michael Olivieri ait été viré début 2019. Suite à quoi Oliver Weinsheimer les a jetés du line-up du KIT. Depuis, le bassiste Patrick Guyton et le talentueux guitariste Luke Man qui nous avait bluffés à Weiher en 2018 ne font plus partie de l´aventure eux non plus (de gré ou de force, on ne sait pas), deux membres d´origine ayant réintégré le line up en leur lieu et place.

Concernant l'affiche BYH, je note Heathen assez difficiles à voir en Europe.
ils seront aussi au KIT 2020 donc c´est toujours pas ca qui me fera bouger au BYH

Pour les 25 ans,je trouve l affiche très faible mais je pense que les finances doivent être au plus bas.
Pour ma part,comme l année dernière je n y passerais qu une journée, celle du vendredi car tous les groupes qui m interesse y sont regroupés.
SAXON,ACE FREHLEY,SHAKRA,BENEDICTION,LEATHERWOLF,RAGE et le samedi je filerais a Stughart pour IRON MAIDEN
Je pense même que l organisateur a fait exprès de blinder le vendredi pour sauver son festival.

Fabuleux ! Pour de la 4ème zone... Oui je sais je suis pas très sympa mais putain quand je me rappelle les BYH du début 2000s et quand je vois les affiches 15 ans plus tard je trouve que ça a au mieux stagné, et plus souvent régressé...

Cette année a part le jeudi pour moi pas grand chose
which each passing day it has become more and more foreseeable. Now, to your and to our great regret, it is almost certain: the music festival summer falls victim to the Corona crisis.
As many of you already know, the federal governments and the state government of Germany agreed yesterday, among other things, that major events should be prohibited until August 31 due to the Corona pandemic. The specific regulations, such as the size of the events concerned, are up to the federal states and will follow very soon, but we already are very certain that BANG YOUR HEAD !!! and ROCK OF AGES will not be allowed take place as planned.
We started to consider how we could react to such a development some time ago and thought about alternative dates and ideas for our events, but due to the current situation, we have to discard these options, too.
So we have to assume that the next BANG YOUR HEAD !!! and the next ROCK OF AGES have to be postponed for a whole year, taking place in 2021. We will contact all agents and bands that are confirmed for 2020 during the week. Our idea and hope: to be able to take over the respective event billing as completely as possible into the coming year.
With regard to specific information on the tickets or general conditions for any reverse transactions, please be patient until official regulations from the legislature are available. About a week ago, the so-called German "Corona Cabinet" was considering a relevant voucher solution to protect organizers from too serious financial ramifications, but the corresponding decision and details are not yet set. We kindly ask you to wait with inquiries about reverse transactions until the time has come and we can consider all options thoroughly enough - thank you for your understanding!
What we already guarantee, however: All tickets purchased for 2020 will definitely remain valid for 2021. We would be very happy if you make use of this regulation, as there's a very hard time ahead of us (and many other promoters) without the usual ticket sales for the summer events. It will not be easy to cover our running costs and existing commitments in the upcoming months.
Therefore, we will start with the official pre-sale for 2021 as soon as possible, with details to follow. Anyone who already has a ticket for 2020 and, despite the regulation mentioned above, orders a ticket for 2021, would support us in a very particularly way, of course. However, it already helps us a lot if you simply postpone your already planned visit and celebrate our anniversaries with us just a year later. Together we can make it through these tough times!

C'est bien que le festival puisse être reporté à l'année prochaine. J'avais entendu parler de difficultés financières des orgas depuis plusieurs années, du fait d'une baisse de fréquentation depuis 2016 ou 2017.

Oui je pense que c est de plus en plus compliqué pour eux, on le voie avec l affiche et le nombre de personne se réduisant au fest.
Fais chier car on devais y aller le jeudi avec une superbe affiche et enchainer le samedi avec maiden a stutghart.
l année prochaine ce ne sera pas la même et sûrement obligé de faire plusieurs voyages.
On ne peut pas gagner a chaque fois.
Une année on a enchainé Judas, iced earth ,aibourne en suisse.Le lendemain kiss au luxembourg et le ledemain 3 jours de graspop(kiss,judas,iron maiden)
De toute façon avec tous les déces de musiciens et ces annulation on ne vivra que dans le souvenir
Des enchainements seront certainement encore possible l'année prochaine avec tout ce qui tournera autour, après avec Maiden pas sûr en effet.
Mais du coup si pas de conflit avec Maiden justement j'y réfléchirai à 2 fois pour le refaire ce fest.

first of all we'd like to say a heartfelt thank you for the understanding and above all for your solidarity ins response to the year's "Corona break" we had to announce las last week. It is incredible to hear and read how much you stand behind us, thus providing us with the courage and belief that we will actually get through the difficult time ahead.
A very special thanks also to all those who have ordered merchandise in our shop since Friday and have actually already ordered tickets for 2021 - you are the greatest!
Apart from this, we have received many great ideas and suggestions on how additional support for our events can be possible from your side. That inspired us a lot, and we have already taken up two approaches, which we will introduce to you shortly.
We have already indicated that we might be in need of your support, and now it has been sealed: The federal state of Baden-Württemberg has confirmed on its official website that all events with 1000 or more visitors are subject to the German government's ban on major events.
Therefore it is finally clear: Our summer festivals are postponed and will take place exactly one year later than planned.
The date for the next BANG YOUR HEAD!!! edition is July 15 to 17, 2021.
So far, the chances are excellent that both festivals can take place in the same form and with a very large part of the acts confirmed so far for 2020. A considerable number of all artists and bands have already promised us the be part of the new dates. We'll tell you who is in later, and we will continue to inform you once a week from whom we have received further confirmations.
