Aucune nouvelle chanteuse ne sera annoncée avant 2007


Finnish symphonic metal band NIGHTWISH, which recently entered the studio to begin recording its first album since the departure of singer Tarja Turunen, has posted the following message on its official web site:

"There has been again false news about [the] NIGHTWISH vocalist [position] in some media [outlets] at least in Finland. There has not been any decisions made concerning the vocalist and there will not be any before year 2007. When the band chooses the vocalist, they will inform all [members of the] media about it. Once again: Do not trust any news if it's not found in http://www.nightwish.com!"

Ils sont pas pressés !!! D'ici là tout le monde les aura oublié ! C'est LORDI qui prend leur place dans le coeur des finlandais !!!

C'est déjà le cas depuis pas mal de temps. ça fait deux ans que Lordi vend plus de disques que Nightwish en Finlande.

Assez marrant quand on sait que c'est Nightwish qui a fortement contribué à leur renommé via les concerts où ils les ont pris en première partie

Ce qui est original, c'est que le groupe est en train (ou va bientôt) d'enregistrer la musique du prochain album sans savoir encore qui posera son chant dessus.
En tout cas, dès qu'ils auront une chanteuse, ils n'auront plus qu'à l'envoyer en studio dare dare et sortir l'album deux semaines plus tard

Je suis sure qu'ils l'ont déja trouvé de toute maniere ...

Il me semble que tu as raison car Nightwish (le bassiste) avait annoncé un nouvel album pour février-mars 2006 si je me souviens bien

Comme en tant que grand fan de Nighwish, je savais même pas que la chanteuse avait vu son CPE rompu!

ça me rappelle cette photo du boss d'AZ Prod (Chimène Badi, What for... que du lourd quoi!) qui était assis à son bureau, avec face à lui une pile de CD sur laquelle tronait un CD de Nightwish

Rumeur: Simone serait pressentie pour rempalcer Tarja


According to the Finnish weekly celebrity gossip magazine Katso, NIGHTWISH leader Tuomas Holopainen and the group's manager Ewo Rytkönen have been in contact with EPICA singer Simone Simons possibly taking over the frontwoman position in NIGHTWISH. It is rumored that Tuomas and Ewo became convinced that Simone was capable of of being the next NIGHTWISH vocalist after seeing Simone perform with EPICA at this year's Tuska Festival in Helsinki.

Katso contacted EPICA's tour manager Jeps Salfischberger, who was aware of the rumors but wouldn't confirm them to be true or false. According to Jeps, "EPICA is currently on break — that's all I can say about it."

Whether the rumors turn out to be true or not, Tuomas Holopainen has stated that the name of the new NIGHTWISH vocalist will not be announced until next spring.

En tant qu'ancienne fan du groupe je me dois de démentir la rumeur :

The last few months there have been a lot of rumours about Simone, implying she would leave Epica to join Nightwish as their new vocalist. With this rumour being published in a Finnish celebrity gossip magazine we are again getting a lot of questions whether or not this is true, so once again: Simone is not in contact with Nightwish nor their management and will not be leaving Epica. Don't believe everything you read, specially not in gossip magazines:-)

Oh and by the way, we are still looking for a new drummer

parce que si c'est c'est "Splouchh", c'est grave, mais si c'est "Splouchh" ça peut encore aller..

en tout cas c'est Sploucchement bizarre comme rumeur..
j'ai du mal à imaginer un métaleux Splouchher en pleine fosse parmi des chevelus déchainés...

"The auditions for the new vocalist have ended, with more than 2,000 demos sent to us (yesterday, Jan. 15, we received 120 demos!). A big thanks to everybody! So please don't send anymore demos, since now we need to concentrate on finishing the album recordings.

"The new vocalist will be announced at the end of May, together with the release of a new single."

je dois dire que je suis assez curieux de voir ce que Tuomas va nous pondre(les extraits filtrant d abbey Road sont assez prometteurs);quant à la nouvelle chanteuse , j espere qu elle a de sacres epaules.
