Le chanteur du groupe de Turilli sera le chanteur de Trick or Treat :

"Today is a great and very important day for our band. We are finally proud to present the new singer of RHAPSODY to the world, the person who, thanks to his unique vocal talent, will contribute to the artistic perspectives of the band in the years to come.

"The secret is finally revealed: the new singer is Italian and his name is Alessandro Conti (TRICK OR TREAT)."

Commented Luca Turilli: "Alessandro is the singer of our band since many months already but we wanted to present him in the way he deserves, and this means: through his voice! We wanted to find a singer able to sing in different ways and offering different 'colors.' Such ability is fundamental for me as in every RHAPSODY album I like to compose different styles of songs, passing from the most cinematic and epic impact of some songs to the operatic majesty of other ones, from celestial voices to more aggressive tonnes. Alessandro was just the best choice in this sense as, in between the multitude of all his vocal colors, he has a great high tone but also an operatic approach that makes the difference. He studied at the Corale Lirica Rossini of Modena as first tenor, the same school attended by the great and unforgettable Luciano Pavarotti."

Added Alessandro: "I am very enthusiastic to be the new voice of RHAPSODY and the person the band was searching for. 'Ascending To Infinity' is just an amazing piece of art and maybe not even the word 'epic' is enough to describe its emotional power… what is sure is that I am really proud to be part of it. J'ai trop hâte!!!!!

Pwerf... autant j'étais contente d'apprendre que ce chanteur intégrait Secret Sphere, autant un mouetteur dans les aiguës pour Rhapsody... c'est beaucoup moins drôle. Limite vu le chanteur que Luca avait pour son projet solo je ne comprends pas qu'il ait choisi cet amateur du suraiguë beaucoup trop en gorge. Pourtant il y en a des bons en Italie, cf.: Vision Divine!

Enfin, on verra bien ce que ça donne sur album... et au moins on peut être sûrs d'avoir de l'ambiance sur scène avec ce type!

Bah je le trouve vraiment bon ce chanteur, après le problème, c'est surtout les compos, le peu d'extraits m'ont l'air assez banal, difficile de n'écrire que des morceaux de la trempe de March of time.

ça fait longtemps que j'ai décroché avec rhapsody. pourtant j'aime bien les premiers albums. mais depuis symphony of the enchanted land 2, les albums sont chiant. trop orchestration tue l'orchestration. mais alors là, divise le groupe en deux pour faire la même chose. c'est ridicule.

J'ai adoré les deux premiers albums, après ... Mais bon, je verrai bien ce que ça donne en concert vendredi prochain !

Pour ceux qui sont allergiques aux orchestrations pompeuses, devraient écouter l'avant dernier The Frozen Tears of Angels clairement orienté guitares et bien sûr excellent, un de leur meilleur pour moi.

euh par contre The Frozen Tears of Angels, c'est bien du metal sympho avec des choeurs et un style opéra-metal

Tout à fait d'accord avec Furya, Tears est clairement dans la veine speed metal sympho, c'est juste que les guitares sont un peu plus grosses dessus...je l'aime moyennement, tout comme le dernier. Je préfère encore SOEL II qui est certes très sympho mais dont les orchestrations sonnent bien moins carton pâte.

Je ne suis pas d'accord, sur Frozen, les orchestrations sont clairement en retrait, on pourrait limite les enlever sans que ça manque. A part sur le long titre à la limite.

Vendredi prochain? C'est bien la version sans Luca qui joue, non?
A priori ils devraient jouer la sécurité et jouer de vieux titres, et comme ça reste Fabio au chant... au moins musicalement parlant, ça ne devrait pas être trop "choquant". Après hein... on verra bien!

D'ailleurs je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils ont inclus une reprise de "March of Time" dans la bande annonce, elle est sur l'album?

bon je viens de revoir le trailer, je trouve que le groupe de Luca Turilli's ressemble plus à un Kamelot qu'au Rhapsody originel... Surtout le titre juste après March of Time ça fait pas très rhapsody

Commented LUCA TURILLI'S RHAPSODY: "We tried it but we understood in a short time that it would have been really impossible to have our friend and drummer Alex Holzwarth playing for both RHAPSODY and RHAPSODY OF FIRE. In these conditions, there was simply no way to go on and right now, having two tour agencies working for us and starting the planning of the live activity, we agreed that the best is to keep the two bands completely independent from each other. That's why some time ago we found the only possible solution. Alex Holzwarth will go on playing for RHAPSODY OF FIRE, and this makes sense because also his brother is playing in that band, too. From our side, after thanking Alex for all the wonderful moments shared together and to have recorded the new album showing once more all his great technical skill, we started looking around trying to find a special person that could have taken his important place. Well, we can tell you that we found that person and it is surely special, very special… honestly one of the best drummers around we had the chance to listen to. Therefore we are really proud to announce that the new drummer and permanent band member of RHAPSODY will be Mr. Alex Landenburg. Nouveau clip pour la version de Luca Turilli :

Très mauvais. Je trouvais que le début démarrait bien, avec une guitare bien mise en avant, une petite mélodie sympa...et puis patatras! dès que le couplet commence c'est le bordel : morceau complètement foutraque et surchargé au possible. Les choeurs féminins ne servent à rien, les orchestrations pareilles, et elles font plus office de remplissage qu'autre chose et ne s'imbriquent pas vraiment dans le morceau. Le morceau est bêtement complexe. Turilli aurait mieux fait de se concentrer sur la mélodie du début et la remettre régulièrement en avant dans le morceau, bref en faire un gimmick. Là il nous sort un pot pourri de tous ce qu'il sait faire, et sur un morceau relativement court c'est totalement indigeste. Ça part très mal cette histoire.

Je partage ton avis , une intro prometteuse et plus rien . L'orchestration vers 3'30 arrive sans relation avec le reste du morceau .Tout est un peu brouillon , et de toute manière j'aime pas la manière qu'il a de jouer , faire claquer une note avec un grand geste le Turilli , même si j'adorais Rhapsody ;
Et puis j'comprends rien au clip !!
Il a laissé les dragons à Fabio et sa bande ??

C'est plus difficile à modéliser que des tentacule
