Je suis surpris de ne pas trouver un topic sur poison et de moi même en crée un ,je n'ai jamais était fan ,mais apparemen demain sort un best of 20 ans et a l'occas j'y jeterais une oreille.

POISON played their smash hit "Nothin' but a Good Time" on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Friday, June 9. Watch the performance online at YouTube.com.

POISON released a new greatest-hits set back in early April called "The Best Of Poison: 20 Years of Rock", which includes their cover version of GRAND FUNK RAILROAD's "We're An American Band". The CD, which which commemorates POISON's 20th anniversary, has sold 159,000 copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

POISON will join up with CINDERELLA and opening band ENDEVERAFTER for the "20 Years of Rock" tour from June 13 in Mankato, Minnesota to August 25 at Atlanta, Georgia.

Le premier album du groupe est genial

I Want Action Toniiiiiiiiiigt !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Le reste de la disco j'accroche pas trop, pas d'hymnes terribles comme sur le premier.

Le meilleur album de Poison pour moi, c'est Native Tongue, parcequ'il sonne pas comme du Poison , vu qu'il ya un vrai gratteux dessus (vive la black crowes touch....)
Flesh and blood est cool.... pour aller à la plage.
Par contre c'est vrament un groupe pourri sur scene!!!

Bon, comment faire du neuf avec du vieux.
Il s'agit en fait du concert jusque là uniquement disponible en import DVD vidéo ....
Il va sortir sous format audio le 26 aout.
Il s'agit d'un concert datant déjà de plus de 15 ans .... enregistré sur la tournée Native Tongue (leur meilleur album selon moi) avec Ritchie Kotzen à la guitare.

Ben le seul live en cd qui existe d'eux c'est "Swallow this live" enregistré sur la tournée Flesh and Blood (1990) ... vraiment pas terrible ....

Bonne nouvelle, mais Native tongue c'est l'album que j'aime le moins de ceux que j'ai ... (le morceau Scream est quand même terrible !!!!!)
Pis j'aime bien Swallowed this live, le tracklisting est terrible

Je trouve que le son est pas bon, ça joue moue... et Bret chante vraiment pas terrible sur ce live...
En revanche j'aime bien les inédits studios à la fin.

Je l'ai chopé !

Je connais très peu Poison, donc c'est un peu tôt pour donné un avis, mais à chaud il est bien coolos !
C'est clair que Ritchie Kotzen assure !

(pas que ça soit une vraie surprise, mais bon, je ne savais pas trop ce que ça pouvait donner dans ce contexte

).

A certains moment je me suis mis à fanstasmer sur ce qu'aurait pu être Mötley avec un vrai guitariste !

Bret Michaels vient d'avoir une hémorragie cérébrale, il serait entre la vie et la mort.

POISON singer Bret Michaels' web site has been updated with the following message:

"Everyone at Michaels Entertainment would like to thank all fans and friends for their continued thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

"At this point Bret remains in ICU in critical condition. He is under 24-hour doctor's care and supervision. We are hopeful that further tests will locate the source of the bleeding, which has still not been located.

"As we all know, Bret is a fighter and we are hopeful that once all is complete, the slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness, etc. will be eliminated and all functions will return to normal.

"More information will be posted as it becomes available."

Chaque fois que j'en ai l'occasion je me fais le prophète de ces 2 albums qui montrent une face du groupe que peu connaissent et qui méritent vraiment une oreille... Le premier avec Ritchie Kotzen, le second avec Blues Saraceno

En fait Poison c'est mieux quand y a un vrai guitariste....
