Puisqu'ils ont signé ce nouveau contrat, leur label en profite pour rééditer Phobia, Human Twilightzone et le live History in Pain. Tant mieux pour ce dernier, vu qu'il n'a pas été distribué plus loin que leur site.
Sans oublier une compile d'inédites live et de faces B de toute leur carrière, pour fêter leurs 10 ans :
Austrian bashers STYGMA IV (formerly STIGMATA, then STIGMATA IV) are planning to celebrate their 10th Anniversary with a full length CD featuring outtakes and live cuts from the past decade, due to be released in early 2005. The album is tentatively titled Rotting Corpses.
The idea for Rotting Corpses came to light when Stygma IV's new record label, S.A.D. Music, decided to re-release the band's Phobia (2001), The Human Twilight Zone (2002), and A History In Pain - Live (2003) albums, also to be issued early next year.

Les 2 reprises de Jesus Christ Superstar sont superbes. J'incite ceux qui ne connaissent pas cette comédie musicale à jeter une oreille (voire même les 2 ) sur ce chef d'oeuvre...notamment la version de 1996, en attendant celle de Sebastian Bach dans le rôle principal (enfin, si elle sort un jour ).
J'avais acheté l'album de Laibach dans lequel ils font une reprise de Superstar...franchement je n'avais pas trouvé ça terrible

Il y a le groupe américain Total Eclipse (power metal US) qui ont repris "Heaven on their Minds" sur leur dernier album, évidemment le morceau est transformé mais ça reste très sympa

Je les ai vu en premiere partie d'Angra sur la tournee Rebirth et je me suis vraiment fait chier. Et vu les reactions de la salle, j'étais loin d'être le seul. Pourtant vu l'ambiance qu'il y avait quand Silent Force à enchainer, c'est pas que le public était mort ce jour-là.
Mais ça, c'est vieux, maintenant, je sais pas ce qui valent.

Un oubli dans la news !! Au tout début, STYGMA IV s'appelait BIG APPLE...
Sinon, personnellement, j'ai vraiment pas accroché sur le dernier album "Hell Within" que je regrette vraiment d'avoir acheté...

Leur batteur a de graves problèmes de dos et ils préfèrent splitter plutôt que de continuer sans lui. C'est extrême comme décision mais c'est honnête.

Dommage, c'était un groupe complètement à part dans la scène heavy européenne. Je suis content de les avoir vus à Wacken en 2001 du coup
En ce qui concerne Richard Krenmaier, il ne s'agit pas d'un groupe qu'il a monté suite au split: ça fait bien longtemps qu'il officie dans ce projet parallèle, je m'étais déjà intéressé à la chose il y a quelques années...
