Le troisième album des pagan métalleux allemands d'Equilibrium sortira le 18 juin via Nuclear Blast Records.

German epic metallers EQUILIBRIUM are currently working on the follow-up to their 2010 album, Rekreatur. In few days, the guys will enter the Helion Studios Munich to kick off the recordings with guitar player and producer René Berthiaume.
The band states: “The songs are written, 13 tracks are planned for the album. We can hardly wait to finally release another full-length record after four years! In the past we’ve written a lot, so that the record will be very varying. With some songs we return to our roots, others will be a sonic surprise. Next week Robse will hit the studio to record vocals and to give the songs life. Furthermore there are some other things planned for Equi this year, you can really look forward to!”
The as-yet-untitled album will be released this summer via Nuclear Blast. Updates to follow.
German epic metal pioneers EQUILIBRIUM will release their fourth studio album, Erdentempel, on June 6th via Nuclear Blast!
Guitarist, composer and lyricist René Berthiaume spent almost four years working on Erdentempel. The outcome is a very emotional and above all very personal album, that leads back to the roots of the band, without neglecting the bombast of the previous two records
The album was recorded, produced and mixed under the direction of René at Helion Studios and mastered at Finnvox-Studios. The cover artwork was done by Skadi van Terror.

The announcement reads: "Dear fans, this weekend we received at unexpected message from Sandra and Andi, who told us that they want to leave the band. Below you can find their statement. A statement from René, Adeline and Hati will follow tomorrow."
Statement of Andi: "Dear family, friends, fans and crew, I would like to tell you my decision, that my sister Sandra, and I left the band Equilibrium. With all of you together, and more than a decade, I had the most beautiful concerts and tours, exciting time in my life that I do not want to miss.
"Happiness and sorrow, line-up changes of all kinds, there something always something going on. René, Adeline, Hati and crew, thank you for the nice time. I wish you all the best, go full blast!
"Every end is a new beginning. There will be a new band for me, which I want to stay with you, musically and on stage.
"Best regards, Andi"
Statement of Sandra: "Dear friends, family, crew and fans! Today is the day; for me-the era of equilibrium has come to end. My brother Andi and I have decided to leave the band.
"In the past 13 years I got to learn a lot, had many ups and downs and I got to know a lot of people who enriched my life in many ways or have given me the opportunity to learn and grow.
"I would like to thank each and every one of you for all the energy, for the happy moments, feedback and support.
"I will keep it all in my heart for all times. René, Adeline, Hati and crew. Thanks and all the best for you guys!
"For me it's time to open new doors and find new challenges for this it what necessary to leave behind the old and move on to something new.
"Thank you all!"
