Impellitteri : retour de Rob Rock

Rob Rock est de nouveau le chanteur de IMPELLITTERI, après l'avoir été il y a 10 ans.
Chris Impellitteri compte sortir l'album de sa carrière :
Hello Friends,
Now on to our new record titled "Good and Evil". The new music is being mixed in Vancouver with Greg Reely (Devil Driver, Fear Factory, etc..) . I can say that this is by far the most amazing recording I have been involved with. It is filled with amazing riffs, fast shredding solos, screaming vocals, and of course a brutal rhythm section.
The goal of this record was to make a historic album that will rival Van Halen 1, Ozzy's Blizzard of OZ, Pantera - Cowboys from Hell, Yngwie's Rising force, Metallica's Master of puppets, and even new artists like Children of Bodom and Avenged Sevenfold.
And so, Impellitteri "Good and Evil" is my attempt to rival the best. Hopefully, we have done our job well !! It was not easy.
And now for all of the patient fans --- ROB ROCK is officially back in the band.
Rob Rock is officially back in the band!! The king of scream and melody is once again fronting Impellitteri.
Our fans have eagerly anticipated Rocks return since he left to pursue a solo career in 2000, so to their delight we are officially announcing the return of Rock. I am personally excited at Rob's contribution on this record, he is singing like a madman, filled with rage and beautiful melody. It should please all of the metal heads around the globe.
Oh, and Impellitteri will be creating their first official My Space Page shortly.

Merci pour la news, qui est vraiment une très bonne nouvelle pour une fois.
J'espère que l'album sera aussi bon que System X qui avait Graham Bonnet au chant. Et j'espère mieux que le dernier Pedal to the Metal qui m'avait un peu déçu par son approche un peu trop 'nouveau metal' par moment.
Il sort quand l'album, il y a une date de prévue déjà ?

Excellent ! le chanteur du dernier album était pas au niveau !
Rock a chanté sur de sacrés albums d'Impelliterri ("Answer to the Master" ou "Screaming Symphony" par ex).

Euh j'espère qu'il sera bien meilleur que "System X", c'est là que j'ai décroché, aucun rapport de qualité avec l'ultime "Screaming symphony" et les fabuleux "Answer to the master" et "Eye of the hurricane", pour ma part.
Excellent que Rock revienne, mais il faut les compos qui aillent avec
Je croise les doigts en tous cas, et s'il voulait un peu tourner le père Chris...
Je compte toujours pas aller au Japon pour les voir

J'avais jamais reussi a me renseigner sur la disco de rob rock que je conaissais que en solo avec Mars ou avec Pell... il a fait un paquet de trucs avec impeliteri !
J'ai que screaming symphony...

une suite du line up de System X ne m'aurait pas dérangé, j'adore cet album
mais bon ce qui me plaît dans le dui Impellitteri-Rob Rock, c'est qu'ils sont sur la même longueur d'onde religieuse et de ce fait les textes, le concept, enfin l'ambiance générale de ces disques est plus originale que d'autres groupes du style, plus mystique je dirais

Par contre, il a l'air un peu mégalo sur les bords

The CD, which had the working title of "Good and Evil", was mixed in Vancouver, British Columbia with Greg Reely (DEVILDRIVER, FEAR FACTORY, etc.) and is "by far the most amazing recording I have been involved with," according to IMPELLITTERI mainman/guitarist Chris Impellitteri. "It is filled with amazing riffs, fast shredding solos, screaming vocals, and, of course, a brutal rhythm section."

En effet il a de l'espoir, car déjà, surpasser son "Screaming symphony" sera dur... Un de mes albums favoris, d'un groupe que j'ai longtemps suivi, mais qui ne tournait jamais en Europe... Esperons qu'il fera une exception ce coup ci...

Et moi, j'en suis resté à "Stand in line" !!
Il y avait une chanson sur cet album qui était un pur pompage de "I am a viking" d'un certain Yngwie !!

pareil, System x est une tuerie totale ! bizarre que gandalf n'accroche pas à cet album, enfin ces albums sont quand même diffcile à trouver en France... Après comme dit Gandalf le voir tourner en Europe serai vraiment fort !!!

"System X" je vais le réecouter, je l'ai jamais ressorti de son etagère depuis son achat et ses deux écoutes qui m'avaient déçu... C'est le dernier que j'avais pris du combo.

Bon ben comme d'hab je suis pas fan...
Pis la gratte toujours pareil... Ca déboule à mort avec des plans qui arrivent comme le mullet de Bobby Ingram sur la soupe !
Quand je pense qu'il y a des gens pour critiquer Malmsteen...
Bref, je passe...
Par contre, les photos du myspace sont pas mal !

je sens que cet album va me plaire !!!
ce morceau est vraiment pas mal !!! du classique exact, mais bon ce sera dur d'égaler un "victim of the system" ou un "answer to th master" !!! bon j'ai l'impression que ce sera plus heavy que ce qu'il a proposé avec Rock jusqu'à maintenant, en tout cas celui là il a rien perdu de sont talent, il a quand même un sacré brin de voix...

quand je repense à Pedal to the metal, on en est heureusement loin cette fois çi.
Est ce qu'il va sortir en europe ce nouvel album ou uniquement au japon ?

2009 is looking to be an active year for me as I resurrect my rôle in "Impellitteri", and the "Rob Rock" solo band releases a live DVD later in 2009, and the "Driver" group performs at the "Bang Your Head" festival in June. These activities come at a time when the economy worldwide is in turmoil and I am extremely grateful to all of the music lovers out there that continue to support my creativity.
