A l'occasion de leur retour avec un nouvel album le mois prochaine, la discographie complète du groupe de Ferdy Doernberg (Axel Rudi Pell et 36 000 autres groupes sur scène) est rééditée.
Long-running German melodic power metallers ROUGH SILK - who recently inked a deal with Dockyard 1 for their new album, A New Beginning - will see their entire catalog remixed and remastered with bonus tracks this summer. Titles include: Roots Of Hate (1993), Walls Of Never (1994), Circle Of Pain... ...Or: The Secret Lies Of Timekeeping (1996), Mephisto(1997), Beyond the Sundown (1998), Symphony Of Life (2001) and End Of Infinity (2003).
A New Beginning will be released March 23rd. It's the 20th band anniversary and the time is right to bring ROUGH SILK back to life! How can you do this better but with a new album! Mastermind Ferdy Doernberg teamed up with André Hort (bass), Mike Mandel (guitars) and Alex Wenn (drums), who are young and hungry musicians from the Hanover-area to bring fresh blood and enthusiasm into the band and most important to bring back more Metal into ROUGH SILK's sound again! So with the anniversary the new album will start a new era for the band and you can't name it better then with the album title: A New Beginning! But that's not all: all ROUGH SILK albums will be re-released with bonus tracks remixed and remastered this summer. And it looks pretty much as there will some special shows as well, that might feature some of the earlier ROUGH SILK members. So stay tuned.

Depuis que Ferdy s'est mis à chanter lui-même c'est parti en vrille j'ai l'impression. J'avais écouté l'album de 2003 et c'était devenu très médiocre par rapport à leurs premiers albums.
