Il me semblait qu'il y avait déjà un sujet dans cette section plus récent que 2007, mais j'ai du rever, donc voici les dates confirmées pour 2009:

Je vais normalement à Pratteln, et au Bang Your Head, mais j'aimerais bien enfin me faire un acoustique! Niederkruchten tombe entre le hellfest et le bang your head. Je suis en congé et c'est à 3h. Vais tenter ça!

Ils vont enregistrer un dvd à Tilburg le 19/03/10.

JON OLIVA'S PAIN, the band led by SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva, will release its fourth album, "Festival", on February 19, 2010 via AFM Records. A March/April European tour will be confirmed soon, culminating with the filming of a live DVD consisting of music from the four JON OLIVA'S PAIN CDs and a healthy dose of SAVATAGE classics.

The DVD shoot will take place on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the 013 in Tilburg, Holland. Tickets are now on sale through the 013 web site and box office. The rest of the spring dates will be confirmed soon.

Commented Oliva: "This DVD is going to kick ass, and [it's] something that I have been looking forward to for many, many years. With the release of our new album in February and the vast back catalog of SAVATAGE material, we will have plenty of material to fill a 2-plus-hour show... The band is great form and my voice is so ready for this. We're going to capture a great show with all the pyro, bells and whistles we can put on stage... and, of course, we will need all of you there to make it an over the top success.

"AFM will release the DVD during our summer festival tour, beginning with our return to the infamous Graspop [Metal Meeting] in Belgium.

"Crank up the new CD and we will see you on tour!"

Même si une date dans l'est est toujours sympa, le tourneur ne s'y serait pas pris autrement pour que l'unique date française soit une catastrophe en terme de vente de billets : coincés entre Ludwisburg la veille, et surtout Pratteln le lendemain (60 km de Colmar), 2 salles sympas connues et reconnues, bref y'a pas mieux pour être sûrs que vu que très peu de français iront à Colmar, en plus on se privent des Suisses et des Allemands ! Bien joué.

c'est clair, c'est vraiment histoire de faire une pseudo-date en France alors que d'habitude il y a niet.

Ouais... Déjà qu'il ramène personne en France, si les frontaliers ne viennent pas, c'est mal barré pour maintenir la date...

Moi je planifie Tilburg pour l'enregistrement du dvd ou au pire Vosselar.

JON OLIVA'S PAIN have checked in with the following update:

Alrighty people...time for final preparations for the upcoming JOP show at the State Theatre in St. Pete, Florida on Friday, September 17th. Go to this location for ticket info. This is an all-ages show!

In other news, due to personal obligations here at home, bassist Kevin Rothney and guitarist Tom McDyne will be unable to join us for this show and the upcoming tour. Everything possible was done to insure that they would be able to attend, and we will miss not having them with JOP for this tour.

So, please welcome back Jerry Outlaw on guitar. Many will remember Jerry from JOP's past tours in support of our first release, 'Tage Mahal. Jerry is one of the most brilliant guitar players anywhere. His stellar tribute band to Frank Zappa (BOGUS POMP), is one of the most recognized Zappa bands in the world. Check him out for yourselves on the net.

Taking over bass duties for the tour is Tampa's phenom-bass player, Jason Gaines. With credits such as BASIC ROCK OUTFIT and GROOVE ALTAR, he is one of the most sought after and busiest bass players around. We are grateful to find such a talent to round out the line-up for these shows.

Rehearsals are going great and we will be ready to bring the JOP/SAVATAGE catalog to life in just a few days. See you at the State Theatre and on tour in Europe beginning September 28th in Berlin, Germany. Don't forget the live DVD filming at The 013 in Tilburg, Holland on October 15th!"

D'ailleurs, après l'annulation de la tournée française de Primal Fear / Circle II Circle, ces derniers ont trouvé une date à Pratteln dans une autre salle le même soir que le concert de Jon Oliva... Le concert de CIIC ayant terminé plus tôt que celui de Jon, le groupe s'est donc rendu au z7 et Zak Stevens est monté sur scène pour chanter Hall of the Mountain King avec le groupe

Tu veux provquer une vague de suicide sur le forum toi ou quoi avec des annonces pareilles

Cool, mais il n'aurait pas pu faire "Edge of Thorns" à la place?
