Bah c'est pas exceptionnel certes et ça ressemble à d'autres fest pour le moment. Mais perso il y a des trucs sympa je trouve, un bon début d'affiche je trouve.

There's another reason why to go to Masters of Rock this summer - Langsuyar with MOONSPELL confirmed, that they will show up on stage in Vizovice after one-year break. But it will be no ordinary visit - Portuguese quintet went thru its repertoire and realized it would be cool to refresh their devoted ones' memories and to think back to times when (almost) all of us were 17-18 years younger. Yep, during the July show MOONSPELL will play for us stuff from its first two cult albums „Wolfheart“ (1995) and „Irreligious“ (1996) only, which were in fans' and critics' opinions so successful. Guys will play songs from albums which were released in mid 90's - at the height of the European goth metal craze and they also sounds so. Fans of romantic shade of black get ready for the hot blood, which will pump up yours as well! And remember - you can see MOONSPELL in Vizovice for the special price valid until the end of February. This year during the seventh month of the year the creator of seven studio albums - SEVEN - will greet its fans from main Ronnie James Dio Stage. YNGWIE MALMSTEEN has always been a truly legendary, respected and highly regarded artist even despite his occasional behavior swings, which he defends himself being simply complex personality which is hard to understand. He issued his 24th solo album titled "Spellbound" in 2012 and he supports it diligently and tirelessly on tour worldwide. ATTENTION! Legendary Yngwie Malmsteen will perform on Ronnie James Dio Stage for the first time this year and for MASTER OF ROCK Festival he's preparing special, very exclusive show!

If EPICA singer would socialize with KAMELOT keyboardist about two weeks later, she could have caught Vizovice gig Simone Simons and her longtime boyfriend Oliver Palotai announced to the world that they are expecting their first child around the end of summer. That's why EPICA cancelled all of their concert activities from July 1st on, thus will not perform at Masters of Rock festival. We congratulate the happy couple! So you fans of symphonic metal with female vocals won't get the raw deal we have recalled EPICA's replacement which also has something to say. Our invitation was accepted by the German group XANDRIA with an experienced singer Manuela Kraller (* 1981), which has trained her soprano in choir of German band HAGGARD. If you haven't got the opportunity to familiarize with XANDRIA, try to check out how they play these days ("Valentine") and how they played formerly ("Ravenheart").

HUNTRESS will not perform at Metalfest this year.

We're very sorry to inform you the American heavy metal band HUNTRESS have just withdrawn from this year's Metalfest in Pilsen. Personal reasons of one of its members are the cause of their absence in the Czech Republic. Therefore festival starts (same as Friday program) at 1 PM. Thank you for your understanding!
