GAMMA RAY: And the new album will be called...Empire Of The Undead ! ! !

As exclusively revealed by great Kai Hansen, in an interview on Rock Overdose and which yoy will be able to read in a few days.

So this is how the new album by Gamma Ray will be entitled, which is expected to be released by the end of this year or the beginning (January, if there is eventually a short delay) of 2014.

This delay, if any, will be due to the Hellish Rock Tour Part II with Helloween, which will be launched on February 28, while still remains unknown the time it will end, because of new dates added constantly. On 9 and 10 March and expect to see them in Greece.

Legendary Kai Hansen, says: "the new album will be very strong and heavy, fast and full of energy, and there are also some experiments we've tried. The two new songs that will be featured in the Master Of Confusion EP, which will be released on March 15 and will be the forerunner of the new album, will be included in Empire Of The Undead and will be indicative of its sound direction, and will probably include a ballad as well."

As for what will happen after the release of Empire Of The Undead, Kai announces that it will be Unisonic's turn.

German power metallers GAMMA RAY have issued the following update:

"After a successful tour across Europe and Asia, it is time now to finish what had been started with 'Master Of Confusion' EP beginning of this year: the band will enter their studio tomorrow looking through and carrying together new material for the new album, 'Empire Of The Undead', which is supposed to be completed right before the band heads out for the South American leg of the Hellish Rock II tour [with HELLOWEEN in late November]."

GAMMA RAY's new EP, "Master Of Confusion", was released on March 15 via earMUSIC, the Hamburg, Germany-based international rock label which is part of Edel Group.

In addition to the brand new title cut, "Master Of Confusion" features a second new studio track, "Empire Of The Undead", showing the heavier side of the band, with an explosion of energy and pure GAMMA RAY sound at its best.

The release is not free from tasty rarities: a brand new studio cover versions of British glam rock band SWEET ("Lost Angels" — "the reason I have joined a band many years ago," stated GAMMA RAY frontman Kai Hansen) and a hidden treasure of NWOBHM ("Death Or Glory" by HOLOCAUST).

Les dernières productions de Gamma Ray m'ont pas tant emballé que ça. Elles étaient "juste sympas". J'espère qu'ils vont sortir un album qui poutre. Les nouvelles chansons du EP n'étaient pas dégueulasses donc j'ai espoir.

J'ai trouvé que TO THE METAL était un poil en dessous également. Sur l'EP les nouveaux titres étaient sympa, surtout Empire of the Undead justement. Assez speed avec des idée dans la rythmique du refrain qui sortent un peu de l'ordinaire, bref du bon vieux GAMMARAY : efficace mais quand même un peu barré par moment, c'est ça qui est bon!

Quick and as well very sad info after the GAMMA RAY (Official) seems to have been destroyed by a huge fire today (18th Nov. 2013):

L'ironie dans l'incendie du studio de Gamma Ray, est quand même que ce soit les bandes d'un nouvel album live de Deep Purple qui aient disparu.
