Six Feet Under a débute l'écriture d'un nouvel album.

Bon moi j'ai zappé celui sorti en 2006 (il avait pas l'air terrible mais après peut-être que je me trompe)

En tout cas ils choment pas les gars de SFU

SFU, j'écoutais ça à ton âge (bon ok, c'était il n'y a pas si longtemps). Maintenant, je trouve ça pas fameux. En plus, leurs reprises ridicules (comme Wrathchild, Sirens, Smoke on The Water et tout l'album qu'on a pas besoin de nommer) les ont sérieusement décrédibilisés à mes yeux.

C'est vrai qu'ils chôment pas ! Mais ils devraient peut-être faire une pause plutôt que de continuer à faire n'importe quoi...

J'ai beau être un amateur de Death Metal, je trouve la musique de Six Feet Under chiante à mourir. Du Death pépère pas inspiré pour deux sous.
C'est un groupe bien trop surestimé qui fait parler de lui de par la seule présence d'un ex Cannibal Corpse.

Sans déconner... Haunted est pour moi un des meilleurs albums de death metal de tous les temps !

Warpath est pas génial, mais c'était bien frais à l'époque ; Maximum Violence est vraiment très bon, il y a des putains d'excellents morceaux sur ce disque ! Et après... ben j'ai lâché l'affaire : c'est devenu bien nul quand même...

Mais Haunted, bordel !!!!

Le prochain sera la replique du dernier en date, c'ess a dire du death old school mid tempo et groovY.

SFU c'est bien finit pour moi depuis un grand nombre d'album. La dernière fois que je les avais lu a la loco en juillet 2004 avec Aborted, Obscenity et un autre groupe, y avais pas grand monde.

The Tampa, Florida-based death metal legends are set to release their eighth full-length studio album titled Death Rituals November 11th via Metal Blade Records.

According to a press release, Death Rituals features 13 tracks of pure American death metal delivering a bludgeoning slab of metal that will leave fans hungering for more. Legendary death metal vocalist Chris Barnes, along with guitarist Steve Swanson, bass legend Terry Butler, and drummer Greg Gall, continue to follow the dark and demented path that merges tried and true death groove with stomach-turning lyrics and themes.

Death Rituals saw the band returning to Morrisound Studios in Tampa, FL with Chris Carroll at the helm with mixing duties being handled by Toby Wright and the return of Six Feet Under’s old friend Bill Metoyer, who recorded the bands CD Warpath, helping out with recording of the drums.

Je semble être le seul à adorer le groupe dans son intégralité alors

Je trouve ça beaucoup plus jouissif que les derniers Cannibal (une comparaison au hasard

) !!

Le basiste Terry Butler vient de quitter le groupe pour rejoindre à temps plein Obituary. Greg Gall, le batteur, se fait la malle aussi.

Our long time friends and bandmates, Terry Butler and Greg Gall , have decided to move on and depart from SFU. Steve Swanson and myself are grateful for all the fun times we've shared together through the years, and wish them the best of luck in their musical endeavors.

just to fill you all in, Steve and myself are very excited about the future of the SFU, and i have been working hard on writing the new SFU material for the past 4 months with a new writing partner.

i will make this guarantee and promise to all the fans of Six Feet Under; the new line up will be a DEATH METAL force to be dealt with, with the long awaited addition of a brutal as fuck drummer and riffs that will rip your face off, vocals ala 1993-1995...

oui sur la tournée il y aura également Matt DeVries, deuxième gratteux de Chimaira, à la basse. Ce qui fait qu'il y a 50% du line up de Chimaira de l'époque de l'album éponyme.

Ils seont carrément en majorité, ils pourraient aussi faire des reprises de Chimaira ainsi que de Canniboule.

Autant, j'aime beaucoup Arnold et DeVries dans Chimaira, je trouve qu'ils ne collent pas du tout avec SFU.
Je comprends toujours pas pourquoi Arnold a quitté Chimaira, le groupe qu'il a aidé à contruire pour aller faire des reprises de Canniboule avec Barnes.
