Sitôt la quatrième édition passée, voici la cinquième avec du solide au programme

RAVEN, SOLITUDE AETURNUS, RUFFIANS, INTRUDER, SKULLVIEW, STORMWARRIOR and FORSAKEN are the first bands confirmed for the Keep It True V festival, set to be held November 5 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. A warm-up show, Night of the Blade, will take place on November 4 at the Dittigheim Sporthalle, featuring WOLF, POWERGOD and STRIKELIGHT. Tickets for the festival will go on sale this week.

+ EMERALD, dont ce sera lecconcert d'adieu (je n'ai jamais entendu parler de ce groupe, par contre)

Holland's EMERALD will play their farewell concert at the Keep It True V
warm-up event, dubbed Night of the Blade, which is set to take place November 4 at the Dittigheim Sporthalle. Other acts confirmed for the warm-up concert include WOLF, POWERGOD and STRIKELIGHT.

Ben c'est en Novembre, d'ici là il a le temps de se soigner

Mais eux qui ont l'habitude de jouer des sets de 2h voire plus en tête d'affiche, je sais pas comment ils vont faire pour se retenir et ne jouer que 90 min

Colorado power metallers JAG PANZER have replaced SOLITUDE AETURNUS on the billing of the Keep It True V festival, set to be held November 5 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. JAG PANZER will play a special "Ample Destruction" set and may end up using the the audio/video recordings from the festival for their first live CD/DVD. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

moi je suis ravi!!! Jag Panzer qui joue plus de 25 minutes c'est rare non sérieux je suis content de les voir en salle ceux là

Je ne suis pas d'accord, franchement à part Virgin Steele il n'y a aucun groupe véritablement "connu" dans le lot. Raven passent rarement en Europe et sont probablement moins connus que des Blitzkrieg ou Stormwitch qui jouaient à la même position l'an dernier. La tête d'affiche est la plus "vendeuse" qu'ils aient programmé jusque là, mais ça me paraît tout à fait justifié vu les penchants "epic metal" du festival, un jour ou l'autre VS allaient finir par y jouer. Et puis le reste de l'affiche c'est pas spécialement le genre de groupes qu'on voit partout dans la presse nationale

Et puis avec toutes ces reformations (sic) ils seront pas encore à court de groupes "rares"

Organizers Issue Keep It True V Update; OVERLORDE Featured On Keep It True IV DVD

As previously reported, the Keep It True V festival (http://www.keep-it-true.de) is scheduled for November 4th - 5th at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Konigshofen, Germany.

Organizers of the festival have issued the following festival update:

“Hi friends,

First of all, the tickets for the warm up show are getting rare. We only have under 50 tickets left and it seems there won’t be tickets available on the evening. So if you want to go there, order them in advance on our website or at our helping mail orders.

Also we want to tell you, that we decided to change something in the KIT schedule. It will be like this: There will be only one big KIT in April with Warm Up show. On the November date we will do a little smaller festival in the sports hall Dittigheim, where now the Warm Up shows are. There will be 5 - 6 high quality bands playing there. We will try to do this rhythm from 2006 on.

We took this step ‘cause we simply do not have the time to do two big festivals in one year anymore. We both have our regular jobs and see this festival as our hobby and do it for our passion for this music. We want to avoid that KIT will get into a machinery, where we do not have fun anymore and just consider it as normal work. Every April there will be a KIT in all its shining glory and I think all of you will also accept the even more underground November date. I hope you all understand our decision, because we want to keep our flame burning and try to bring you the best festival possible.

The dates for 2006 are: April 07th/08th, November 4th 2006

JAG PANZER recently stepped in to fill the vacant position recently left open by the departure of SOLITUDE AETURNUS from the lineup for this year’s festival.

It has also been reported that Jag Panzer will perform a special “Ample Destruction” set, and will film their set for a possible live CD/DVD release. The band will play a full 75 minute set.

Acts on the bill for Keep It True V currently include: VIRGIN STEELE, RAVEN, JAG PANZER, RUFFIANS, INTRUDER, SLOUGH FEG, SKULLVIEW, STORMWARRIOR, FORSAKEN and IGNITOR.

In related news, the official Keep It True IV DVD should be released in early November (during KIT V).

C'est clair qu'à force d'inviter tous les vieux groupes reformés au bout d'un moment il n'y en aura plus, ou alors il ne restera que le bas du panier.

t'as pris le permis à un euro/jour ? (plus compliqué qu'il n'y paraît pour y accéder)
