Abbath (Immortal) de retour aux affaires

Il serait en train de travailler sur un projet avec le guitariste de ENSLAVED... d'après les dires de Iscariah (ex-Immortal) :

I spoke to Abbath a few months ago and he's keeping himself busy doing a demo with the guitar player from ENSLAVED. It's taken quite some time because just before I moved the UK (over a year ago) he came to my house and played some of the music to me. It's got an At The Heart Of Winter kind of feel to it. It's really heavy, really stong material. You can definitely hear who wrote it, and that's a compliment. It's brilliant stuff. I can't wait for him to get back out there. Abbath is an amazing artist and an amazing stage presence. He needs to be out there.

C'est pas Abbath qui chante normalement, c'est le chanteur/guitariste de Old Funeral (premier groupe d'Abbath avant Immortal). Le gars s'appelle Tore, et Lemmy et Campbell sont venus les voir en concert et descendre des bières avec eux à Bergen, c'est dire la qualité de Bombers!!!

Mais apparemment, Abbath semble effectivement avoir repris le chant...
Le Tore en question est aussi et surtout un immense fan de Twisted Sister, il a tous leurs disques d'or, et il a même racheté la tenue originale de Dee Snider aux enchères après le split de TS. Il a également un tribute band à TS, avec le bassiste d'Enslaved, et Dee Snider est déjà venu chanter avec eux avant la reformation de TS.

Tore c'est ce gars, et c'est le mec le plus rock'n'roll de Bergen!

Ce mec ne sait dire qu'un truc, c'est "All right!!" en imitant la voix de Lemmy !!

Moi je dis tant mieux qu'ils aient splités Immortal tout simplement car ils savaient qu'ils n'arriveraient jamais à ressortir des albums de la trempe de ce qu'ils ont fait...c'est plus franc vis-à-vis du public je trouve et leur discographie se suffit à elle même il faut bien le dire...

Pour revenir à Abbath, son nouveau projet s'appelle I :

IMMORTAL frontman Abbath (real name: Olve Eikemo) has reportedly joined forces with original IMMORTAL drummer Armagedda, ENSLAVED guitarist Arve Isdal and GORGOROTH bassist King in a brand-new project dubbed simply I. The group have finished writing two-thirds of the material for their upcoming full-length debut, which will feature lyrics written primarily by former IMMORTAL guitarist Demonaz (real name: Harald Nævdal). The band, who expect to enter the studio before the end of 2005, are said to be contemplating making several festival appearances next year.

Très bien cet interview. Abbath a l'air d'être quelqu'un d'honnête et réfléchi. Ca change des grandes gueules...

Oui, mais il a une panda toute pourrie et une dent en plus derrière les autres ... (d'un autre côté sa panda elle a fait norvège -> val de fontenay plusieurs fois si j'ai bien compris ... )

Elle est traduit dans un Hard'n'Heavy (celui avec Slipknot et Freddy Kruger en couverture).
