Danish hard rockers D-A-D will be releasing a new live DVD/CD package, entitled "Scare Yourself Alive", on May 8 via EMI. The package will feature memorable moments from the band's "Scare Yourself Alive" tour, including footage from the Roskilde Festival and additional material from the November 2005 show at the KB Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark. More information will be made available soon.

D-A-D recently completed work on the third video from their latest album, "Scare Yourself". The clip, for the song "Lawrence of Suburbia", marked the first time the band have used a fully animated video for one of their tracks since "ZCMI" from the 1989 album "No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims".

The group's ninth studio album, "Scare Yourself" topped the album chart in Denmark upon its release in May 2005.

D-A-D's previous CD, "Soft Dogs", was officially certified gold (25,000 copies sold) in Denmark within four days of its release in February 2002. The album had shifted 32,000 copies domestically less than a week after it was issued.

A new D-A-D song entitled "Monster Philosophy" is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. The track is the title cut of the Danish rock band's 10th studio album, "Monster Philosophy", which is scheduled for release on November 10 via EMI. The CD features 10 tracks produced by Jon "Joshua" Schumann, who has previously worked with MEW, KENT, KASHMIR and CARPARK NORTH, among others. The basic tracks were laid down in April in Long Branch, New Jersey and work continued at Mansion Studiet in Copenhagen, Denmark.

D-A-D frontman Jesper Binzer previously stated: "We have headhunted Joshua — for D-A-D a rare but very important choice. Joshua's efficient and fast way of working is 100% right for us. We have the same references and now the foundation for the recording is laid."

"True Believer", the documentary about D-A-D filmed and directed over a 25-year-period by Torleif Hoppe — the band's so-called fifth member — will open in Danish theaters on October 10. So far, the film will be shown in the following cities: Copenhagen, Århus, Odense and Ålborg. More information will be made available soon.

Tiens, pour répondre à la remarque de LBM, ils ont changé leur nom entier en D.A.D. pour éviter les foudres de la firme Disney.
J'avais parlé de Reconstrucdead, mais Riskin'it all fait partie de mon kit de survie aussi. Je trouve que la musique de ce groupe a une couleur tout à fait spécifique.

Bien d'accord ! j'adore l'attitude de DAD qui contre vents et marées continue leur musique et traverse les années.Je repense au clip de "Girl Nation" et je me réecoute souvent le mini live a Osaka.Lords of the atlas, Sleeping my day away...

And a book in English, about the life and times of D.A.D, based on a number of recent interviews with the band, by author Michael Valeur. The 160 pages are generously illustrated by D-A-D bass player Stig Pedersen.

ces bons vieux frangins Binzer ainsi que Stig sont toujours là. C'est pas leur meilleur titre. Je sais plus trop ce qu'ils font en ce moment. Ya toujours le côté rock ou ils se sont ramollis ?
