Swedish metallers ENTOMBED have pushed back the projected release date of their new full-length album, "Serpent Saints", to September 18. An EP, entitled "When in Sodom", will precede the album on June 6 via Threeman Recordings.

Commented the band: "There were so many great songs to chose from and this is a great way give the fans what they want — more ENTOMBED!"

ENTOMBED's new album is being recorded at Soundland studio in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. The upcoming CD will be the group's first without the contributions of guitarist Uffe Cederlund, who left the band in September.

Ouais d'ailleurs au Killerfest c'etait un remplacant, du coup il maitrisait pas trop, du fait qu'il a ete appellé dans l'urgence !!
Mais bon c'etait quand même un super show !

Moi qui suis assez death/deat-mélo, ENTOMBED c'est loin d'être un des groupes que je préfère.

Dommage que ce soit si bourrion, ya des riffs super sympas et le chanteurs a une bonne voix

J'ai lu dans Nuclear Blast Mag que cet album aurait pu sortir juste après Wolverine Blues, qu'il était dans la veine de celui-ci.
Quelqu'un confirme ?

ouaip je l'ai écouté 2-3 x et en effet il est dans la lignée des premiers albums mais ...
largement moins bon, prévisible et sans génie, disons que c'est un retour aux sources quelques morceaux sont vraiment excellents d'autres n'amènent rien... un album moyen pour moi, sympa à écouter avec un gros son mais c'est tout.

Changement de bassiste, et nouveau guitariste, le groupe est récemment redevenu un quintette.

Long-running Swedish metallers ENTOMBED have announced the addition of bassist Victor Brandt (TOTALT JÄVLA MÖRKER, AEON, SATYRICON) to the group's ranks. Meanwhile, ENTOMBED's former bassist Nico Elgstrand is now playing second guitar for the band.

ENTOMBED performed as a five-piece for the first time in years on October 17, 2009 at Arenan in Stockholm, Sweden, with Elgstrand playing second guitar for this one gig only. Handling the bass duties for the Stockholm show and the rest of ENTOMBED's tour with AMON AMARTH was Brandt, who was filling in temporarily while Elgstrand took some time off to focus on other affairs.
