KROKUS frontman Marc Storace has posted the following message on the band's official web site:
"The first week of the new year brought us a new drummer by the name of Stefan Schwarzmann [ex-ACCEPT, U.D.O., HELLOWEEN]. He nicely rounds up the missing link in our rhythm section in time for the new album recordings. It didn't take us very long to realize that Stefan must be the man! The songs we jammed out simply sounded like wildfire! The adrenaline rush came with a loud kick, precise rolls and double bass drum patterns adding climax and drive! The rest is all a matter of practice and routine. Now we're already working on some final arrangements of the first batch of songs destined for the new album, and there's a lot more where those came from. It's really great to have such a large choice!"

Veteran Swiss rockers KROKUS have inked a deal with Germany's AFM Records. The as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2003's "Rock the Block" is being recorded with producer Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69) and is scheduled for release on September 15. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Midnight Fantasy" and "Angel of My Dreams", the latter of which is being described as "a wonderful ballad."
KROKUS frontman Marc Storace has told Metal-Rules.com that "Hellraiser" will be featured in an upcoming film called "Handyman". "It's a comedy movie by this Swiss comedian called Malcolm Reamer who is also big in Austria and Switzerland," he said. "He has starred with the people who do 'Wochenendhaus' and he's been in a couple of other films as well. He's very popular and he never stops joking. He's born for this part. The song is called 'Hellraiser' and it fits in the film. We have a small part in it where we get smashed in a limousine."
KROKUS recently announced the addition of German drummer Stefan Schwarzmann (ex-ACCEPT, U.D.O., HELLOWEEN) to the group's ranks. The band's current lineup is completed by Tony Castell (bass), Mandy Meyer (guitar) and Dominique Fave (guitar).

En tous cas il dépote bien le nouveau Krokus! moins rock'n'roll et globalement plus heavy! il a peut-être le défaut de "Rock The Block": trop long, 16 titres c'est trop pour un album de Hard, mais bon on en a pour son argent!
sinon pour l'anecdote, il n'y a aucun membre en commun avec l'album "Round 13" sorti en 1999
Faut que je me plonge dans leur disco, j'avais adoré leur dernier, et je me suis pris à 5 euros au metalmarket un double live que j'ai pas encore ecouté.

putain ben prend toi le petit dernier! c'est désormais le meilleur de leur discographie, j'ai dit! rhalala je suis à fond dedans, ce coup ci on pourra même plus les comparer avec AC/DC, c'est du SAXON avec la Krokus style!
je crois bien que je tiens là mon disque de l'année, c'est puissant, varié, rock'n'roll, heavy, le son est béton, tous les titres sont bons, rhaa c'est divin j'y retourne
Tu me fais baver d'envie, là !! Moi qui pensais être encore un des rares en ce plat pays à apprécier KROKUS (past and present), me voilà encore plus motivé pour me payer le petit dernier. Il est déjà sorti ?

yep il est sorti vendredi, tout beau tout frais!
Il me le faut aussi, Rock the Block était vraiment bon. Je me souviens les avoir vu il y a 2 ans en Suisse dans une petite salle du coté de La chaux de fonds, j'étais par la bàs et j'ai vu une affiche sur un mur annoncant le concert.
Toujours aussi bon ce nouvel album, et je ne lache pas Metal Rendez Vous ! Vraiment un grand artiste du metal Mark Storace, un peu comme Saxon on ne change pas une recette qui marche et on est jamais déçu !
