A mon avis, le batteur du Sab sera le batteur de la tournée d'Ozzy our faire simple. Ils ne vont pas engager un autre batteur pour 3 shows.

One of BLACK SABBATH's biggest fans tells U.K.'s Sunday Mercury that online ticket scalpers have made it impossible for him to see his favorite band's reunion concert in their hometown.

Tickets for the show, which will be at the O2 Academy in Birmingham on May 19, are going for £250 (approximately $400) on the Internet — more than for five times the original price of £45.

Sean May, who has SABBATH singer Ozzy Osbourne's name tattooed on his knuckles, tells Sunday Mercury, "I've been following the band since I was 14, but the real fans are missing out so these ticket scalpers can make money. I think it's wrong, and it's not the venue or the band that are profiting, it's online ticket touts. It's only a small concert, with 3,000 tickets.

He added, "I tried to get on to the official web site as soon as they went on sale at 9 a.m. on Friday, but it crashed. When I got through to the venue 10 minutes later but they had sold out.

"The venue say they only sell two tickets per person — how on earth did they sell to 1,500 people in 10 minutes?"

BLACK SABBATH's promoter Andy Copping added, "Of course the show sold out quickly, it's BLACK SABBATH playing a small show in their hometown. Sadly, some people feel the need to purchase tickets and put them on the secondary market. I personally find it disgusting and unethical but until the government do something and pass some legislation to outlaw this practice, we are powerless. What makes matters worse is that the show will be making a sizeable financial contribution to charity – maybe the people that are seeking to profiteer from their tickets should donate the additional money they make to the charity, then at least it's going to a good cause."

A donation to Help For Heroes will be made from the proceeds of the show.

Then Geezer comes out and we do a bunch of Sabbath stuff and at the end, Slash and everybody – Geezer, Slash, Gus – and we all play 'Paranoid'.

C'était plus ou moins à prévoir quand la liste des " & friends" a été annoncée. Le premier concert de ce "groupe" c'est demain donc on sera vite fixé maintenant

celle de ozzy est banal et le concept de change de musiciens tous les 4 titres cela me saoule

cela reste un bon concert et si on compare à graspop avec les deux autres headline , il y a même pas photo mais bon le seul truc de bien c est que pour le vendredi de graspop , je serais tranquille chez moi du coup

Le concert à Mannheim a été annulé à la dernière minute, après le passage de Black Label Society, Ozzy ayant des problèmes vocaux...

According to TMZ.com, tonight's (Wednesday, June 20) OZZY OSBOURNE & FRIENDS concert at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany was canceled at the last minute over "vocal concerns."

After support band BLACK LABEL SOCIETY finished its set, an Ozzy representative came on and announced that Osbourne would be unable to perform due to "issues with his voice."

Du très bon contenu encore une fois, même si je trouve qu'ils auraient facilement pu meubler davantage (leur set ne devait pas dépasser la petite 1h40 au Donington Park), d'autant plus qu'il y manque toujours des brûlots tels que le sulfurique "Supernaut", un peu de légèreté façon "Planet Caravan" ou "Laguna Sunrise" et évidemment "Bassically" en intro de "N.I.B." (qui avait pourtant été jouée à leur reformation en 2005 il me semble, à vérifier sur le live "Reunion", j'en mettrai pas ma main à couper).

Ils avaient joué quasiment la même chose au Download, à l'exception près que "Tomorrow's Dream" remplaçait "Electric Funeral" :

Et j'en profite pour confirmer ce que redoutaient certains vis-à-vis du jeu de Tommy Clufetos :
C'est pas sa technique qui pose problème, puisque manifestement ça joue et ça cogne dur, mais peut-être un peu trop justement.
Sa frappe est trop lourde pour qu'on ne ressente pas l'absence du toucher jazzy mieux aéré (aérien même par moments serais-je tenté de dire) de Ward, et c'est bien cette émotion qui fait cruellement défaut sur certains titres.

Bon, je chipote, puisque l'amateur lambda accordera clairement le plus clair de son attention au jeu d'Iommi, aux éructations nasillardes d'Ozzy et la fondation rythmique de Geezer, mais tout de même, ça passe pas non plus inaperçu.
